The work displayed here has been created using plaster, filler, paint and other substances such as soot, sand, soil and rust. In most of the pieces, the surface although very textured to begin with, is gradually sanded smooth, with many layers of colour and filler added to create a depth of surface and to allow previous layers to show through.
