- About yourself
- I am a painter , a photographer and do instalations. I was born in the Netherlands and left there in 1951 .
Came to Israel and settled in the south in a Kibutz .
After I married I lived in the Kibutz for 17 years , and from there left and settled in a Agriculture highschool in the vicinity of Haifa . Worked there for 22 years as Youth Counselor and in the meantime studied art at the Haifa University . Did 7 years Master classes with two different astists/teachers , after which I decided to leave work and begin a full time job as artist .
From that time till now I did 17 solo paintings exhibitions and 2 solo photography shows .
I participated in more than 40 group exhibitions in Israel and abroad .
Awards :
2003 - Bronze Medal at "Le Salon des Artistes Francaises ", Paris
2004 - The Big Gold Medal at " La Monde des Artes et de Culture " , Cannes , France
2006 - Hon. Professor Associated Academician della Accademia "Greci - Marino " del Verbano , Italy .
2007 - The " Anthony van Deyck " award , Lecce , Italy
